AfricaLics (African Network for Economics of Learning, Innovation, and Competence Building Systems) is a research network for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners focused on innovation and development in Africa, aiming to foster inclusive growth through high-quality research, capacity building (like PhD academies and fellowships), and policy dialogue, as the African chapter of the global Globelics network. It connects researchers across the continent to study how learning and innovation systems drive economic and social progress, offering activities like conferences, training, and networking to build expertise and address under-researched areas.
