Africa's leading School of Governance
About Us
We offer academic programmes, executive short courses and online programmes to address development, policy and economic challenges with expert tuition and supervision.
Since its inception in the early 1990s, the School contributed to public service capacity development and have played a pioneering role in using the independent and neutral space of the University to facilitate interaction between civil society, the academy and practitioners.

Research
The School of Governance is research led, and the change we hope to create is by bringing practitioners into a facilitated space of sharing ideas, and through case-based peer learning, build contextually relevant theory that can contribute to excellence in governance. We strive to create a culture of innovative research and support students and academics to co-create knowledge, with thought leaders across the continent who support our research agenda as fellows and visiting scholars.
