WATCH: Response to proposal to buy 18 private hospitals

During the State of the Province Address , Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi announced that the province would be purchasing 18 private hospitals, to be converted into public hospitals. But it's not clear how this will be funded.

Lesufi said these hospitals would be ready in time for the National Health Insurance.  Adjunct Professor Alex van den Heever responded to this announcement on SABC.
