I am Raesetsa Hopane, the Business Development Manager and Acting Director of the Executive Education.

We understand the challenges experienced by public servants and offer practical skills with academic underpinnings to help you lead and manage your teams to improve service delivery and uphold the core principles of governance and public policy.

We take an innovative approach to education by designing courses that are relevant such as Public Transport Governance Course, Developing Leadership for Digital Government, Board Governance, or Civic Tech Innovation. Your learning journey with us will be enhanced by the facilitation methods we leverage; we strike a balance between theory and practice with skilled practitioners and seasoned academics.

We honour your experience here with a graduation spectacle, should you complete your courses successfully. Every year, more than 1000 graduates get to wear a WSG graduation gown and celebrate their achievements of rigorous and inspired learning. It’s a special day that I look forward to because I know that our graduates are committed to making Africa stronger and greater.
